HannahGaspee2.jpg (13143 bytes)Leonard Bucklin, in the costume of Joseph Bucklin, of the Joseph Bucklin Society, rode on a float with replicas of the Gaspee chasing the Hanna. Read about the historical Joseph Bucklin.

 Capt Whipple became Commodore Whipple in the Revolutionary War.  
One of the best ship captains of the Revolutionary Navy,
 he lead the Gaspee attack in 1772.With him on the float was George Whipple III (in the costume of Capt. Whipple)  Read about the historical Capt. Whipple.

Rehoboth Minuteman Company Recreators.That group on the left?  They portray the unit commanded by Capt. John Bucklin II in 1774 --- the Rehoboth Minute Man Company.  Click here to read more about him and them.

That group on the right?  They are the Mummers from Philadelphia.  A string band in costumes of feathers.  They plan on being back next year.
