This is an extraordinarily important historical document for those interested in the Joseph Bucklin that shot the English captain in the capture of the English ship Gaspee.  We therefore store a copy in our Documentary Depository and place a reduced and electronically edited copy here for ease of historians' reference. 

From handwriting comparisons, we believe the first six entries, detailing the children and the death of their mother Zermiah,  were written by Capt. Joseph Bucklin 4th.  The last entry shown below, recording the death of Capt. Joseph, appears to have been added by daughter Anna (also known as Nancy), the only survivor of the family.
