Military heroes abound in the Bucklin family. The one whose photo is on the left received the Congressional Medal of Honor.  His Medal of Honor citation explains his heroic acts.

Artists and authors among the Bucklin family are numbered in the dozens. On the right is a photo of a painting by a Bucklin (William Savory Bucklin 1851-1928). William Savery Bucklin was not only a noted painter throughout the country during his lifetime, but also is one of the several intelligent persons resident in the Bucklin group resident in the lands of the North American Phylanx.
