Rehoboth Minute Men unit.  Several Bucklins were members of the Rehoboth Minute Men in 1774.   They have said they would welcome any Bucklin (man or woman) who wants to dress the part and parade with them.  Women march behind the men to stay away from the firing of weapons done by the recreators

 

parade9.JPG (11334 bytes).  .  Pawtuxet Rangers   ----  Our society director, Leonard Bucklin, has appeared in costume in the parade several years.  The musket Leonard carries in the parade has been loaned each dome by Capt Ron Barnes of the Pawtuxet Rangers, a generous loan which we much appreciate.  Photo on the right shows Capt. Professor Deasy, an authority on Gaspee documents, graciously answered our questions on historical points . . and Bucklins enjoyed bringing family members to the parade.
